My wife Lídia’s journey with photography began long before she held a professional camera. At just 12 years old, she discovered a calling that would shape our lives forever.

Our story truly began when we married in 2005. Seeing her innate talent, I encouraged her to pursue her passion at the university level, where she refined her craft. Her career in Brazil was a testament to her dedication; she rose to prominence, becoming a celebrated photographer known for her joyful, light-filled, and sensitive style. Above all, Lídia’s work is a reflection of her Christian faith. She believes that a photographer’s convictions are deeply etched into their images, and her photographs carry that soul and sincerity.

Our path was not without its trials. After a long struggle with infertility, God blessed us with twins. Lídia chose to pause her thriving career to dedicate herself fully to our children, a time she used to reconnect and find new depth in her art. When we discovered our son was on the autism spectrum, we felt a calling to seek new horizons.

It was Lídia’s solid career and the reputation of her photography company that opened the doors for us to move to the United States. Receiving our permanent residency was a gift—a privilege earned through years of hard work. Coming from a humble background, Lídia is profoundly grateful to God for the ability to provide our children with opportunities she never had, while passing down the precious values that have always guided her.

Today, here in the U.S., she continues to capture life's most beautiful moments with the same friendly spirit and excellence that have always defined her."
